My mom wa...I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My mom was the one who made our holidays special. She put all her love into the hoidays, especially Christmas. They just aren't the same for me now that she is gone. My dad got remarried in May. I am happy for him but it's been difficult for me watching everything of my mom, what my mom and dad built together over nearly 40 years, disappear. I feel like my mom and all her memories, her traditions, are being erased in the house that was once hers. Thanksgiving is a weird holiday, since we "celebrated" our first without my mom one week after her funeral. My fifth Thanksgiving without her just passed, and now comes Christmas. I wish you all the best as you go through the holidays. Take care.
